It’s Winter Windfall time!
Winter Windfall is our annual Mount Alvernia High School holiday calendar fundraiser. Proceeds from past years have gone toward purchasing Chrome books, facility upgrades, funding for service projects, transportation to events and athletic equipment and uniforms along with many other programs, all benefiting our students. Like all our fundraising events, your participation in them is needed.
The success of this year’s Winter Windfall is doubly important over that of past years. This year, due to a labor shortage at tree & wreath farm’s we are unable to secure trees for the tree sale. Therefore there will be no tree and wreath sale this winter. This is a loss of approximately $8000. We could use all of our families’ efforts this year in making this the best Winter Windfall year ever.
Each calendar costs $10. There are 38 opportunities to win daily prizes between Christmas Day and January 31st. Incentives are in place for students to win prizes for being a top 3 seller and for those who sell 15 or 20 calendars respectively. All hardcopy calendar entries must be received at the school by Tuesday, December 21st at noon or purchased online by 11:59 pm of that day in order to be eligible for incentive prizes and to be entered into the Winter Windfall drawings. All hardcopy returned calendars should be addressed to Sister Michele Craig and turned into the student’s homeroom teacher.
Through online sales it is now easy to connect with family and friends. Winter Windfall calendars make great stocking stuffers and are a great way to invite loved ones to support a Mount Alvernia High School education.
